[VIDEO] You could consider this admission by Senator Feinstein that the immigration issue is nothing but a political football for her. Before President Donald Trump, immigration meant very little to her. Now she is a big proponent of doing anything she can for people who cross our borders illegally. She is quick to brand our president as a villain for upholding federal law. However, back on March 13, 2008, Senator Feinstein Voted YES on comprehensive immigration reform. Establishes specified benchmarks which must be met before the guest worker and legalization programs may be initiated:
. That bill included:
- operational control of the border with Mexico;
- Border Patrol increases;
- border barriers, including vehicle barriers, fencing, radar, and aerial vehicles;
- detention capacity for illegal aliens apprehended crossing the US-Mexico border;
- workplace enforcement, including an electronic employment verification system; and
- Z-visa alien processing.

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) admitted over the weekend that she didn’t pay attention to immigration issues under former President Barack Obama but now she criticizes President Donald Trump over them.
Appearing on CNN’s “State of the Union” with host Jake Tapper, Feinstein was asked by Tapper what she would say to people who wanted to know where was “all this activism [over immigration issues] during the Obama years.”
“Candidly, I didn’t really know enough about it at that time to focus on it,” Feinstein replied, claiming that immigration issues are worse today than under Obama.
“I do know enough about it now,” Feinstein admitted. “We have had a hearing in the Judiciary Committee. We did have testimony.”
“I find it just inhumane, callous, and something I never thought my country would do,” Feinstein continued. “So, it is very worrisome, and we have got to stop it…….
