During the Jill Stein recount efforts and the plots against the electoral college, the Hillary Clinton Camp publicly kept their distance. The WikiLeaks emails that have surfaced paint an entirely different picture. There were close ties and constant communications flowing back and forth. Read the summary of what has been revealed.
As Written By Joe Saunders for Western Journalism:
Six weeks after the election, email leaks are plaguing Hillary Clinton.
While the losing Democrat’s campaign publicly maintained an impersonal stance on the unsuccessful attempt to flip the Electoral College vote against President-elect Donald Trump, emails leaked to the Beltway news outlet Politico are telling a different story.
And they’re making a lie of the mainstream media’s attempts to smear Trump in the process.
According to Politico’s account, based on leaked “correspondence” from Clinton’s top lieutenants, the Clinton campaign was in regular contact with the so-called “Hamilton Electors,” the group that aimed to upset the results of the Nov. 8 election by persuading enough Electoral College members to vote for a candidate other than Donald Trump.
In one email exchange, for instance, Clinton aide Jake Sullivan wrote a Hamilton Elector organizer that he was interested in keeping tabs on the effort. When the organizer, Michael Baca of Colorado, apologized for “his urgent tone” during a telephone conversation, according to Politico, Sullivan replied:
“Not at all! We all share a sense of urgency. Look forward to being in touch.”
