You will never get this interview that supports Senator Jeff Sessions as Donald Trump’s nominee for Attorney General. Alabama State Senate Minority Leader Quinton Ross has known Sessions for two decades. He sees no fault in the man. Will the mainstream media interview him? It does not fit the liberal progressive narrative, so it is not going to happen.
As Written by Tiffany Gabbay for Truth Revolt:
Despite the mainstream media attempting to paint Sen. Jeff Sessions as inherently “racist” and a poor choice for the role of Attorney General, those who know him best — including Democrats and members of the African American community — think otherwise.
Alabama State Senate Minority Leader Quinton Ross has worked with Sessions for close to two decades and, despite being on opposite sides of the political aisle, says he has “not witnessed any type of racial overtone” coming from the U.S. senator.
What’s more, Ross, told CNSNews that he is “confident” that Sessions “will do what’s right for the citizens of the United States” if he is confirmed Attorney General.
The African American and Democrat publicly supports Sessions and told CNS that he’s had a good working relationship with the senator for some 20 years:
“It’s been about, close to 20 years I’ve known him,” replied Ross, a former school principal. “I’ve worked with him as director of adult education and higher education in Montgomery, working to secure funding for a two-year college there. I’ve engaged his office working on ed policy, No Child Left Behind….We just worked with each other on a lot of different projects….
“I have not witnessed any type of racial overtone. It’s just been two men working together to try to get things done for their constituency. You know, he represented the State of Alabama, and I represent a segment of the state, and while we don’t see eye-to-eye on a lot of issues, just as men we know how to work together and respect each other’s position to get things done. But that hadn’t been my experience.”
